Even our men came.
Well…most of them.
I’m totally calling you out Flyn!
She was just as sweet and funny as you expect her to be.
And was more than happy to let us take a group picture with her..
She kept telling us “come on over…I have no personal space”.
Her oldest daughter was there too.
She seemed sweet and was just walking around among all us crazy fans.
But guys…I have to admit…I was a little star struck.
It’s weird to see someone in real life…that you only read about.
And I let myself become too distracted by the fact that husb was taking our picture instead of just being in the moment and talking to her for the minute I was up there.
Oh well.
I promise to make a better impression when I get invited to stay at the lodge
It was a ton of fun!
If you get the chance to go to one of her book signings…do it!
I’m still smiling about the whole thing.
Total side note…but when we got home I realized I was still giddy from meeting her.
And then thought…what a crazy nerd I am for it.
But then this thought popped into my head…if I am this excited and happy about meeting Pioneer Woman just imagine how crazy I am going to be when I get to stand face to face with our sweet God.
Oh goodness.
I am going to be a serious HOT MESS that day!
Thanks to all the sweet friends that went with me.
You guys are the best and it was way more fun to share the experience with you.
And a special thanks to my sweet husband.
Thanks for being excited for me and going to a girly cookbook signing with me.
You are a one of the greatest blessings God has given me.

Oh I am so jealous. Really. When I saw she was coming, I was sure I could make it. And then I realized it was the same day as a softball game (not like that’s anything new…), my nephew’s baby shower, and a party with 47 people at my house. Pioneer Woman didn’t make the priority list. You are so lucky!!!
Thanks for putting it all together & getting us the tickets! I bet that one pick she took will end up on her blog! Oh that is an awful pic of me on here though…..
I love the saying “Hot Mess!”
What are you talking about, your pic with her is great!!!
You see, I was at home sanding, finishing, and putting together my wife’s new mirror. So, i would have gone but i had to build.
Hi, I remember you gals! I was hanging out with my letter J watching you having your photos taken. How funny!
I’m planning to go to Ree’s signing in D.C. next week, so it’s good to know it’ll be worth it!
